Sourabh Gupta is the Founder & Managing
Director of Archohm Consults Private Limited, one of India’s leading
architectural design firms. He is an alumnus of CEPT, Ahmedabad and Technical
University, Delft, the Netherlands. Archohm was conceived as
a design studio that offers design consultancy for architecture, urban
design, interiors and product design. Working across diverse scales, from
furniture to urban infrastructure projects, Archohm’s ‘mad and fun’ philosophy
promotes it’s out of the box design solutions. With over 12 years of experience in Architecture and Urban Design,
Sourabh is renowned for his capabilities in conceptualizing, designing, and
detailing. With his passion and a keen insight into the diverse design fields,
he leads his initiatives towards the highest level of design quality. You can catch him evolving the master plan
of a university in the morning, enhancing the light quality in a private
residence at noon, and designing a bathroom in the evening all under one roof
and under one time zone. Sourabh Gupta is driven to succeed as an
entrepreneur as well. He is the founder member of ZOLIJNS, a premier furniture
and design boutique which houses top-of-the-line international furniture and
accessories in India. Zolijns has partnered with international power brands and
designers who share the same contemporary approach to aesthetics and
manufacturing excellence.
Through his initiative of the Design village, an
interdisciplinary design campus that aims to bring Indian design to the global
platform and the global design fraternity to India, he endeavors to enhance the
design quotient of the country. Sourabh lectures extensively, is a part of
design juries and has won numerous awards and accolades; From the
Designer of the year by Elle décor to Star young entrepreneur award. His studio
was recently awarded the ‘office architecture of the year Asia Pacific’. An avid reader and a wanderer, Sourabh is on
a ‘design expedition’.
